If you’re new, hiii, my name is Aleigha. You can get to know me a bit, over on the About Me section of this site. I am not your astrologer, tarot card reader nor personal psychic. I’m a woman who simply finds pleasure in reading the likes of your baby fahvuh—no, really.

Anything and anybody can be read like a good book. Sometimes our judgement is right, sometimes it’s wrong, and every time: it is skewed. Our Creator, Life, the Best version of ourself, other people, etcetera… is always communicating to us through moods, actions, the weather, etc.

Decoding can get tricky (literally), intuition always leads (always), and I—like you—am a mirror you’ve stumbled upon to aid with helpful reminders along your journey.

I do frequent check-ins with myself and assess my mess, and where I’m showing up blessed; that’s what these report cards are.

The energy reads I scribe up are not directly about me and does not directly reflect you (similarities & flat out irrelevancy are always likely).

What these check-ins are, is what I’ve observed & weighed within and outside of myself up until the point of putting the reads together, which I like to call “Report Cards“—like how it’s done in school.

Keep in mind, since energy flows like the sweet waters of your woman—jokes but true 😉. . .

. . .there’s always the possibility of certain matters mentioned to show up later in a season or within a next door Cycle—whether directly with you or around you.

Remember, everything ain’t about you nor needs to be. We share this world, know people and cross paths of individuals we don’t.

So, while information we gather sits in our subconscious for our own “later down the road” reminders, sometimes what we gather is a Right Now Word for someone else unbeknownst to us.

Which, I believe, still serves valuable for all parties involved.

More on the term Report Card: School days show us, the purpose of a report card is to evaluate our performance.

The graded work done during a semester, for instance, is averaged; our progress and behavior is assessed by the teacher and they note our individual accomplishments, improvements and voice any concerns.

Instead of following the academic six-monthly format for report cards or academic quarterly progress reports, the energy reads I cook up are done cyclically—in accordance to Luna. New Moon to New Moon (29/30 days = a Cycle).

“What is my sign?” “Do I have more than one?” “What about my element? What’s a quality?”

Star signs are based on the alignments of celestial bodies. At the time of one’s birth (date, time and location) is when we get into the whole “what’s yo sign.”

Celestial bodies (Sun, Moon, stars, planets) are constantly moving, changing position and going through their own interdependent cycles; Astrology is the study of this and its relation to or interpretation of humans, actions, events and affairs of our natural world. These days, many will say the action of these placements and shifts influence personality, mood and behavior (meaning, the Cause). I’m not telling you that.

The stars in our sky don’t make things happen—☝🏿TMH got that—Creator is the Cause. Up in the sky is a luminous guide of where we are and where we’re going—what’s to come. It is a map showing us what’s up. Its role is not dictating anything; it does what it’s created to do.

To keep a complex thing as simple as I can—know this: You are not your “zodiac sign,” your star sign is You. Our perspective, character (mental + moral qualities), nature… is how we attract or reflect the energy of said star sign(s), elements and seasonal qualities.

Evey season, each day of the week, hours within a day, etc. . . come with its own personality. From the beginning, humans study, break complexities down, simplify it, and give it a representative. Star signs are no different.

“The Big 3” is a common term in the Astrology world, referring to: Sun sign, Moon sign and Ascendant/Rising sign. These are considered to be the dominant ones, respectively.

SIMPLIFIED, there are 5 planets (Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn), 2 luminaries (the Sun and the Moon), and 1 (mystic) celestial body, according to ancient knowledge. Each star sign is named after a constellation (group of stars) that the Sun annually travels through.

The same goes for the other planets. Whichever star sign each planet was going through at the time of birth determines one’s placements in that area.

The Moon goes through phases in different signs, giving one their “Moon sign.” At the start of each Moon’s cycle, nu moon = same as what sign the Sun is in aka current season (Sun & Moon are aligned) + full moon = that star sign’s direct opposite—count 6 forward/backward (Sun & Moon are opposed). The Moon goes through all the signs, staying in a sign for about 2 days and stretches a bit in length during different points within its average 28-day Cycle.

The “Ascendant/Rising” sign is in regard to the constellation (zodiac sign) that was rising in the east at time of birth.

An ELEMENT is a natural essential component to our earth and physical experience. There a 4 main elements that act as a representative for each quarter of a solar year. Fire, Earth, Air, Water. Each star sign is assigned an element that reflects its nature.

A QUALITY is the overall state of how something operates. There are 3 sequential attributes that represent each part of each season. Beginning (Cardinal), Middle (Fixed), End/Change (Mutable). Since there’s an order to all things, the energy of each star sign is matched with the energy of each quality.

What are the dates?

There are many different types of astrological systems, providing a fixed guide of the start and completion of each star’s season.

Two popular types of Astrology used to describe time are sidereal & tropical. Their dates do differ, and further research on these philosophies in relation to astronomy will help you understand how they measure time.

Please, an identity crisis is not needed. Know thyself, first. Study, discern and follow only what you understand.

Also remember that you are entitled to change your mind. Go where you resonate.

How long have you been doing this? (ALSO: My purpose in sharing with you)

I always like to stay in tune with ‘n aware of myself, the world I’m in and the Life that fills it. I write up these reads to hold myself accountable with making sure I have an attentive written check-in at some point each month. It also allows me to exert some creative✨ energy. I do not have a set timeframe to deliver these things, if I decide to publicly do so for that month—any phase of the Moon can get it. 🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘

When I receive vocalized appreciation of this, I can commit to do what I can more regularly. I write these for myself, first, with intention for it to bring healing value to the eyes who cross the words I channel (more: my purpose in sharing). Though we have our leading attributes, we’re all the signs. So I tap in with i and observe the birds to see what the vibe is.

Report Cards usually blend the energies from the previous Cycle into the ~current~ into the next.

I’ve been doing “reading” type things sparingly (on the internet) since 2020. For instance: helping with dream interpreting & providing intuitive poetry where I write poems for people (separate from my regular poetry).
